Gears of War 2 Multiplayer Interview

Here is a video interview from the executive product of the new Gears of War game coming out in November this year. The bits worth mentioning is the 5v5 from 4v4 upgrade. Most E sports game go for a 5v5 format for games. A couple new multiplayer types are also added. It will definitely be worth looking at when this game hits the shelves.

WOW Wrath of the Lich King Beta Now Open

Blizzard is full of announcement this past week. The Wrath of the Lich King Closed Beta has been announced.

Today we opened the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In program, which gives players a chance to win an invitation to the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King beta. For The Burning Crusade beta, we randomly invited players from the entire World of Warcraft community. With the Opt-In, our goal is to strengthen the beta-testing process by inviting only those players who have expressed active interest in participating.

Keep in mind that you need an active subscription to be able to sign up for the beta. Its to bad i sold my account a few months ago .

Rock Band 2 The Opening Act

Rock Band is ready for a comeback tour. Today, Harmonix announced Rock Band 2 is set to ship for Xbox 360 this September and PS3 later in the year. A feature that is worth mentioning.

We’ve been developing Rock Band as a music platform from the start. All of the songs that you’ve purchased so far (and will be able to purchase in the future) are instantly playable and fully supported in Rock Band 2. We’ve even added some cool new features that let you play your DLC in different ways, which I think people will be very excited to get their hands on.

It will be exciting to see the list of new features offered.

Blizzard Rumor Mill Out of Control

I have been reading a lot of rumors on the blizzard image and a lot of things are definitely pointing to a diablo 3 announcement. Here is the list of things i could come up with in about an hour of scouring the internet.

A lot of new developers have been hired to fill a immediate need for next generation MMORPG developement. The many Diablo runes in the images are also oviously ment to at least make you think it could be a diablo announcement.
The upcoming Blizzcon annoucement of this much hype could hardly be 1 release date? could it? could it be 2 release dates?? AHHHH WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME!!! I GIVE UP ILL JUST WAIT!
